DIURIS  (Donkey Orchids)

Diuris are easily grown. They prefer heavier soil mixes with less sand and more clay. The attractive flowers on tall stems are concentrated in Spring and early Summer. There are more than 60 species in the genus. Grow diuris under cover in bright light so that the grass like leaves are not constantly wet in Winter to minimise leaf rot. Hybrids are vigorous and free flowering but no-one has been able to make a second generation cross yet. Price includes 3 tubers per variety.
